What does this mean?
Before, our courses were given with a 'editions' format, and we had several editions throughout the whole year and strict registration dates.
But now, you are able to register for our courses whenever it's convenient for you, and you will have direct access to them.
Styling and photographing food is not just about capturing an attractive image, it's also about telling a story about taste, seasons and aesthetics. Learn how to transmit that through an image and share your work with potential clients, and the whole world.
In this course, you will learn how to capture a food image and its story with a natural yet strongly graphic approach. Aiala Hernando, noted photographer and director, will discuss every topic involved in the capturing of a stunning food photograph. You'll learn simple and natural food and prop styling techniques, the best camera angles, simple and effective post-production processes and a discussion about mobile food photography, amongst other topics. Aiala will also share business insight with you, and how to present your work the best way possible to potential clients. However, note that this course covers numerous topics in several weeks, and that it's not a photography in-depth course.
Whether you are a photographer looking to expand your skills, or a novice using nothing more than your smartphone, this course will provide you – through different chapters with documentation, quizzes, graphic examples, photographs, tutorials, case studies, presentations and proposed exercises – with knowledge, examples and techniques to improve your food styling and photography.
This is an interactive self-paced online course. That means you are going to be able to access it whenever you want. At any time, day or night, whenever you have a computer, smartphone or tablet and internet connection.
The duration of the course is 6 weeks, with 12 months access. Lessons will be published following a schedule during five weeks. Then, you will have a total of 12 months to keep accessing and studying the course's contents.
You will find written lessons, examples, photographs, quizzes that autocorrect, analysis, assignments without feedback for your own practice, an internal instagram, and so on. Everything is thought so you can take the course and enjoy it at your own pace.
